What to Expect
Reception & Creativity Area
As you enter the main door of our fully accessible center, you will be greeted at our reception area where you can check-in and learn more about our services. We’ll ask you to remove your street shoes in favor of bare feet, indoor shoes, or slippers. The reception area is connected to our beautiful Creativity Area, where you’ll find a beautiful 8 harness cherry floor loom. Our founder Laurie Angell loves to weave, and weaving has been a creative outlet for her since she was very young. Comfortable seating, natural lighting, and several small mindfulness projects will be available. Our creativity area is available for knitting groups, various classes, and other mindfulness activities.
Classroom
Our spacious classroom is perfect for activities such as tai chi and yoga, with plenty of room to move and a comfortable bench for spectators. A large-screen TV is available for educational purposes and to facilitate group activities.
Forest & Beach Rooms
The Forest Room exterior is made with live-edge wood, while the airy Beach Room exterior has beautiful driftwood pieces to create a soothing seaside atmosphere. These two treatment rooms are available for acupuncture, massage therapy, and use of a BioMat, an ISO certified, FDA approved Class II Medical Device that can reduce pain and inflammation, enhance sleep, boost the immune system, and lower stress levels.
Salt Room
Take a deep breath and step into our salt room, where you can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of halotherapy in a calming environment.
Sauna
We offer an infrared Sunlighten sauna, providing a detoxifying and relaxing experience. Two restrooms with showers are close by for your convenience. Bring your own bath robe.
Outdoor Amenities
Outside, you’ll find a half basketball court and shuffleboard, perfect for getting some exercise and having fun with friends. Rest your anchor for a while and embrace the fresh air and nature sounds around you. Pick up a book from our little lending library or take the bike path to downtown Harbor Springs, Petoskey, or even as far as Charlevoix.
